Who are the 5 closest people to you? The people we keep around us and close to us will determine where you are going and how far you will get. If we surround yourself with (strong, positive, hard-working, driven, influential) people, who get up and make a way instead of complaining about their misfortunes, they will eventually rub off on us. Don't carry anyone in life hoping that they will eventually get it together or catch up. Encourage them, lead by example and leave them in God's hands. If they want it for themselves they will eventually do it for themselves at a time that is right for them. We can only do so much without hurting ourselves. Stay away from negative people, people who are always complaining and people living in their past. They will drain all your energy!

Your inner circle, those who are closest to you, should be people who celebrate who you are; people who are happy when you succeed. They should be people who believe the very best in you. Remember, it's not the quantity of friends that's important, it's the quality of friends. Choose your friends wisely so you can be all that God has called you to be.
