Sweet Bee's thought of the day: What will be will be...
Where we need to be in our life is not a mystery. Therefore what is going to be will be regardless of the path we take. We have all been given a vision on our purpose and been given the natural gifts to accomplish them. Some of us run from it, others are scared of it or the success it will bring, and some just have a lot of mess clouding it. (By mess I mean baggage: people, situations and the past). This is why some people don't need formal education to be great at what they do. But we sometimes have to stretch beyond our comfort zone, challenge ourselves and maybe even commit to making a major change in our lives.
Every path has a lesson that we need to learn from to reach our destination. Some of us will have to travel the same road a few times before we learn what we need to know. God gives us people and wisdom to make our journey easier and He also gives us choices. If we choose to listen and see the signs, our journey's will not be as painful. We have to learn to trust in the Lord and not on our own understanding. Proverbs 3:5-6 (NIV) say:
5 Trust in the LORD with all your heart
and lean not on your own understanding;
6 in all your ways acknowledge him,
and He will make your paths straight.
For years I found this hard. Let me be honest with myself, I still do. Not because I don't know He is there but because I feel the need to help God or just want to know the outcome of what is to come right now. This goes back to us living in a world of instant gratification. What we need to do is look at it like a cake. Once we have put all the ingredients and mixed the cake mix, all you can do is put it in the oven and wait for it to bake. Once we have done all we could do now it's time for us to trust God to do what He does. Even when we don't see or feel him moving in our lives we should wait on Him because He is preparing a way out of no way. This goes for every aspect of our lives.
